However, the RTI implementation resulting from this effort has lived on through other developers and at last report (late 2005), was slated to become an open source implementation. An IRIX 6.2 version of rti-s/B1 was released today. Potential users should note that they must have the MIPS Pro 7.0 compiler installed to use this version of the RTI. This release is just an IRIX 6.2 release - there are no changes of any kind from the previous rti-s/B1 release.
rti-s/B1 was released on 22 Jan 97. This update includes additional logging features, additional MOM features, and some bug fixes. RTISIM is now bundled with the release. Please see the release notes for details.
Support now exists for having multiple federates per host (in a single process). Additionally, the support for non-uniform grids has also available.
rti-s-l archive was updated to include messages from 18 Dec 96 through 6 Jan 97.
The rtisim example program sources and binaries are now available via ftp. This program illustrates how to interface to RTI-s including how to work with routing spaces. See the documentation for more information.

Clients of rti-s should remember that versions of rti-s are not interoperable. For example, applications using rti-s/A1 will not work with applications using rti-s/B or rti-s/B1. rti-s-C continues this trend and is not interoperable with any previous version of rti-s.
